Indian Wedding Planner is a wedding planning app with a twist. The app has all the wedding planning essentials including calendar, appointment, and guest list sharing as well as information on customs and rituals that are specific to Indian weddings. It’s available on both the Apple App Store and the Android Market.
Mandy at AAA Restoration approached XiigXaag with a request for a kid-friendly educational app. XiigXaag was happy to oblige with “AAA Coloring.” The app features an adorable dog mascot who reminds kids to “stop, drop and roll” and provides other fire safety tips in a coloring book format.
One of our biggest projects included an app for an upscale Dallas-based fashion retailer. No-pressure at-home visits are a key strategy for the company’s sales force. While these visits are comfortable and convenient for the customers, the company struggled with pricing and inventory inaccuracies. XiigXaag developed iPhone and iPad apps that: displayed merchandise prices and availability in real time; performed calculations quickly and accurately; and allowed sales representatives to present the beautiful merchandise on Apple’s Retina Displays.
Any married man worth his salt knows that while the bride-to-be may take on the majority of responsibility in planning the wedding, the groom can’t be a slouch. Our Houston-based men’s formal attire retailer wanted to create an app that made the groom’s life a little easier. XiigXaag developed an app that allowed grooms to plan, coordinate, and manage tuxedo purchases & rentals for the groomsmen. The app included features like color selection and coordination, allowed sharing and feedback from groomsmen, and local in-store availability.
Another app from the Houston-based men’s clothier was part of an app-augmented marketing campaign. The campaign ran during the peak of prom season. The app XiigXaag developed enabled users to browse through an online store catalog with the option to order online or find the merchandise in a local store. In addition, the app allowed students to refer classmates to the app and at the end of the campaign, the school with the most referrals would receive a large donation from the company.
Skiva Technologies, an up-and-coming technology hardware provider based in Irving, TX, has given XiigXaag the opportunity to develop their app. Our work with Skiva isn’t quite done so we can’t release precise details yet. We’re currently developing a fun timing puzzle game for the iPhone for one of our one-man-show client by the name of Andrew. We’re still in the early stages so there’s not much we can say, but we’ll let you know as soon as we’re done. If you have an iPhone, you’ll definitely want to try this one out!
Another app we’re working on is a matching game for children and young adults ages 5-18. The game focuses on matching vocabulary words; when the user matches the correct cards, the word and its definition are displayed for easy interactive memorization. After only 6 active weeks of development, the app is currently in the beta phase and is on track to be released soon.
